Atlas was the commanding field officer of a special strike team called the Heads of Cerberus. The Heads of Cerberus were involved in the first mission involving Guardians and the last mission of the Guardian Wars.
As the leader of the Heads of Cerberus, he carries the weight of the one Guardian deserter.
After the Guardian Wars, Atlas trained the 2nd Generation of Guardians before being discharged. He is the newest member of the Guardian Apprehension Unit (GAU). The GAU is a special unit that investigates all crimes involving Guardians.

Emily graduated from high school and earned her doctorate at a remarkably young age. She wished to follow in her father's footsteps and pursue a career in public service. She began working with her father, helping him earn the Speaker of the House. Not feeling fulfilled, she applied to the FBI. She began as an analyst, later earning field qualifications. After playing a key role in the capture of a high-profile group of bank robbers, she was assigned to head the GAU.
Her father is currently the Vice-President of the United States.

Evan was the head mechanic for the Guardian's Armored Troop Transporters (ATTs). Evan was not heavily involved in combat during the Guardian Wars. He was one of the first Guardians discharged and one of the first recruits to the FBI.

Tank saw heavy fighting during the Guardian Wars. He often took unnecessary risks by charging enemy fortified locations, earning him the nickname Tank and a bad reputation with officers. After his discharge, he had trouble adapting to civilian life. His reckless nature kept him from holding a job. He began a criminal career by protecting a crime lord. While protecting the crime lord, he quickly learned about importing and exporting goods illegally. He played a key role in the Hand of Death's arrival in the United States.
Tank later murdered the crime lord because of his lack of loyalty, and took over his import-export business.

Titan is one of the most battle-tested Guardians. He took the battle to the enemy. He was often the shield between Guardians and the experimental weapons from Russia and China. One such weapon exploded a tank, shooting large shards of metal with a temperature of over 20,000 degrees into his arm. The heat, along with his bodies quick reacting healing factor, caused scars on his arm.
After he was discharged, he was able to get a job helping load ships. Because of his large size and scars, he was often the subject of whispers. It is at the docks where he met Tank.
